Mary Kay came to LA from Pittsburgh, PA in hopes of becoming the next Shirley Partridge on VH1's In Search of the New Partridge Family and made it all the way to the final show. She recently shot the films Lie To Me playing Brandon Routh's girlfriend and Vacuuming the Cat with Ron Perlman and Barbara Hershey. Other recent credits include starring in the sci-fi film Robot Battle and Timmy the Bag Boy which screened this summer at the San Diego International Children's Film Festival. Mary Kay is also an accomplished jazz singer. She thinks that it is a shame that Jeanette Rankin was so far ahead of her time; for how much we could use her steady presence and peaceful message in today's rancorous political environment. We all have so much to learn from what she spoke of so long ago. Mary Kay was honored to be a part of this beautiful project under such a prolific director (shot the whole thing in 3 days?!?) and with such a talented cast and careful crew.
